Frequently Asked Questions
Ojo-what-o?
The name "OjoDojo" is the product of rigorous consultations with several powerful Silicon Valley marketing gurus who all felt that the matching of the Spanish word for "eye" with the Japanese word for "place of enlightenment" was a perfect expression for the goals of this website. Or something like that. The founder likes it because it was the only domain name he thought of that was actually available. And it's a palindrome. Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog.
I don't get it. What's the point of this site?
Research has shown that people like to look at cool stuff online (especially during work hours.). OjoDojo is an attempt to harness funny and interesting ideas and turn them into galleries that anyone can check out and contribute to.
Where do Proto-Galleries come from?
The first documented proto-gallery was submitted in a cave in Northern France at the end of the Upper Paleolithic era. Titled "Horses having sex," it inspired a few witty comments (i.e. "Grok's wife is horse") but ultimately failed to garner enough "cool" votes to graduate to gallery status.
